2023 Master's Alberta Indigenous Games September 29-October 1st Edmonton, Alberta 8 Sports
Finally we are now ready to hold what many of you have wanted for years A MASTER'S ALBERTA INDIGENOUS GAMES (MAIG)!!! Our 1st ever Master's AIG will be truly HISTORIC and we look forward to seeing many of you there! We've seen most of you at our youth AIG Games as you support them and cheer them on and now it's your turn to shine and get supported and cheered by your youth! Also those youth that aged out of AIG will now be able to continue in AIG as an adult in AIG MASTERS!!! NOTE-FOR COMMUNITY REGISTRATIONS- Communities need to sign up for each team separately. Individuals likewise need to register for multiple sports separately however when signing up for multiple sports individuals won't have to do the waiver form for each separate registration (as when you sign the waiver the first time you are signing for each and every time you sign up for separate sports thereafter) but will be faster to fill out after the initial registration waiver form filled out.
NOTE- We ARE NOT DOING AIG DREAM TEAMS however if you don't have a team then here are the following 2 options: 1) Find a team to be on 2) Register as an individual and we will put you in a waitlist and do our best to get you on teams that need extra players and if there's enough registrants in one division to form a team we will then form one.
We are only doing AIG Dream Teams for the sports of Lacrosse and Soccer if we have enough teams registered to hold those sports.
If you are registered under a team already that is paying the team fee you don’t have to pay individually as well. But all athletes on a team or not have to fill out this individual registration waiver/consent form. Each individual on the team must fill out this individual registration waiver form or they won't be allowed to participate.NOTE: There is NO REQUIREMENT FOR ATHLETES, COACHES, OR ANYONE ELSE TO BE VACCINATED (for the Covid 19 Vaccine) to participate in the 2023 Masters Alberta Indigenous Games.

2023 AIG MASTERS SPORTS & AGE DIVISIONS
Participants can register and participate in more than one sport.
Archery, Basketball, Lacrosse (COED), Soccer (COED), Slo-pitch Softball Divisions, Team Scramble Golf & Volleyball Divisions:
Youngsters: 2002-1989 (21-34 yrs old)
Seasoned: 1988-1974 (35-49 yrs old)
Golden Ones: 1973 and older (50+)
Seasoned: 1988-1974 (35-49 yrs old)
Golden Ones: 1973 and older (50+)
Athletics (Track & Field) Divisions:
Youngsters: 2002-1989 (21-34 yrs old)
Grown Ups: 1988-1979 (35-44 yrs old)
Seasoned: 1978-1969 (45-54 yrs old)
Grown Ups: 1988-1979 (35-44 yrs old)
Seasoned: 1978-1969 (45-54 yrs old)
Seniors: 1968-1959 (55-64 yrs old)
Seasoned Seniors: 1958-1949 (65-74 yrs old)
Golden Ones: 1948 and older (75+)
Divisions can have overage playing down divisions in them! But younger aged can't play up in the AIG Masters Games!
If there are not enough registrations for any one division then that specific sport maybe subject to cancellation or modified to play down in a lower division.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS - July 18th to July 31st, 2023 at 11:59pm is Deadline
Registration for INDIVIDUALS for the sports of Archery, Athletics (Track & Field), Basketball, Slo-Pitch Softball, Golf Team Scramble, Lacrosse (COED), and Volleyball is $125 per athlete per sport if they don't have a team. Reminder-We are only doing AIG Dream Teams for the sports of Lacrosse and Soccer. Those individuals that don't have a team for the sports of Basketball, Slo-Pitch Softball, Team Scramble Golf, Volleyball, we will get them on a waitlist and try to get them on a team that needs extra players and only once it's confirmed they are put on a team then do you pay.
Registration for INDIVIDUALS that don't have a team for the sport of Soccer is just $75.
TEAM Registrations- July 20th to July 31st, 2023 at 11:59pm is Deadline (You don't pay individual fee if you are registering with a team)
Registration for TEAMS for the sports of Basketball, Slo-Pitch Softball, Team Scramble Golf, Lacrosse, Volleyball is $600 per TEAM.
Registration for Teams for the Sport of Soccer is just $400 per team.

All athletes will get what the youth get in Souvenir AIG T-Shirt, Swag Bag and get to compete in 3 game guarantees for the main sports and compete for medals and have a lot of fun!
